Cabin Cat - Bjorn
Further developing on our previous game project: Cabin Cat, I set out to remake the main character Bjorn. Using concept art provided by our 2D artist Alice, I created a more detailed low-poly model of Bjorn now featuring improved texturing and design. Since development on Cabin Cat is currently on pause, I used the opportunity to learn new tools such as Blender's 'texture painting' tool and learnt how to create flat texture 3D models (as well as improve on previous techniques like UV unwrapping). While this model looks effective in Blender, it would be ineffective in game engines due to utelising emission surfaces to get the flat texture effect.
